Musical Ladder System
Guilderland Music Academy offers the Musical Ladder System®, a proven system that helps students get excited about music while helping to keep parents ‘informed’ as to how they are doing. This helps to inspire music students to achieve more!
This music teaching system is being used by music schools across the US and Canada to inspire music students to practice more and enhance their love for music. Similar to karate belt tests, every 90 days or so students have a test with their private music instructor. Once they pass, they receive really cool color wristbands with the name of the level they passed. They also get a certificate of achievement, and at certain levels students will also get a personalized trophy.
Guilderland Music Academy is the only music school in the greater Albany area giving students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies, & certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®.
Guilderland Music Academy wants to inspire students Musical Ladder System® wristbands that they can show off to their friends. More importantly, when students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins!

Sign-up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff at the front desk seven days a week to serve you. Because we only offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material or performance fees, and no semester minimums.
